Firstly，I think as a member of the family，it's everyone's duty to do housework.Doing housework can help kids understand the idea of fairness.Secondly，it can develop children's independence.Now kids depend on their parents too much.They even never think about how to solve problems by themselves and can't look after themselves.Thirdly，both parents and children should be clear that it's not enough to just get good grades at school.Finally，doing chores is not difficult，so kids should do some chores at home.

In a word，doing chores at home is good for children.
