“It's touching because it pays attention to the better side of people, and you can see how society changes, thanks to just one small act of kindness，” said Xu Zheng at the film premiere(首映) at Tsinghua University in Beijing on July 2.

The movie is based on a true story—Lu Yong, who got cancer in 2002, helped more than 1，000 patients get cheaper but unapproved(未經(jīng)批準(zhǔn)的) medicine from India.

Lu was invited to the film premiere after, and he watched the whole film. Lu said the movie shows what will happen when people can't afford imported(進(jìn)口的) medicine. He agreed with the message at the end of the movie that the situation was being improved thanks to the recent efforts of government.

Actor Huang Xiaoming was also invited to the premiere, and he thought both the acting and the direction were wonderful. “Even though I'm not in the movie, as a filmmaker, I feel proud to watch this piece，” he said.
