The Berklee College of Music is a famous music school in Boston US. It is a dream school for many musicians.

Chinese singer Wang Yuan will start studying there soon. The 18-year-old member of boy band TFBoys has been admitted to the college. Wang recently announced the news on a reality show.

Although Wang has already had many jobs in show business, such as acting and hosting, he said his favorite thing to do is play music. Wang not only sings, but also writes his own songs. He has helped to write 10 songs since he started to learn songwriting at 14.

Wang said he was quite determined when he decided to apply to the Berklee College of Music. He didn't apply to any other schools.

Instead of asking for help from college admissions agencies（機構(gòu)）, Wang completed the application process on his own. He dealt with all the English-language paperwork by himself. Sometimes, he had to use translation software to translate the documents he needed to submit（提交）.

Wang is popular in China, but he is not well-known abroad. He had to interview and audition （試鏡）just like the other students. Since he was busy with work, he was the last applicant from Beijing to finish the audition and interview process. "I was nervous, actually. If I failed, I wouldn't have any other choices," he said. During his audition, he was asked to sing without introducing himself.
