On opening day of the I Promise School (IPS) in Akron, Ohio(俄亥俄州),teachers welcomed students with cheers and big smiles. 1. “This is one of the biggest moments in my life!” he said at the opening. So far he has given $ 8 million to support the school.

James grew up in Akron. He didn't have a perfect childhood. His family was poor and he wasn't a good student. He even missed 83 days of school in fourth grade.
