Ning Zetao is one of the most popular sports stars in China, of even around the world. He did a good job in the 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia, 2015.

Ning Zetao was born on March 6th, 1993 in Zhengzhou. He is the only child in his family. Ning Zetao started swimming at the age of 8. His parents took him to a swimming school to help him improve his physical health. Guo Hongyan, a coach found Ning’s talent in swimming. At the age of 11, Ning Zetao became a member of Henan swimming team. At the age of 14, Ning Zetao joined the PLA Navy’ s（中國海軍）swimming team.

In October 2009, sixteen-year-old Ning took part in his first national game in Shandong. On October 26, 2013, Ning won a gold medal in the 50-meter butterfly. On August 6th, 2015, in the 100-meter freestyle competition in Kazan, Ning gave his best performance and won the gold medal. It is a great achievement in Chinese swimming and Ning is the first Asian swimmer to win a medal in this event of FINA World Championships.

Now Ning Zetao is a famous name to the Chinese swimming fans. And his Weibo followers are becoming more and more.
