Gao is the first star to be punished under China's new drunk driving law．Since May 1，drunk drivers will pay a fine，and be banned from driving for five years or even forever．
Drunk driving has become a serious social problem in China．
According to the Ministry of Public Security （公安部），police caught more than half a million drunk drivers last year，a 68percent （百分之…） increase from 2009．

   Another finding from the study showed that Asian elephants born in zoos were more likely to die early than Asian elephants caught in the wild and brought to zoos．Mason suggests stress in the mothers in zoos might cause them to have babies that are less likely to survive．
