Different Ideas About Free Time

People think that teenagers have a lot of free time, but it's not true. We get a lot of homework. But this term I'd like to do some acting, so I'll probably join the Film Club. I think it's important to do different things, not just study, study, study all the time. A teenager's life isn't easy!

I don't have much free time. After school I help my dad. He is a technical worker. I like learning about machines. I don't have any special hobbies, but I like listening to music and making CDs for my friends.

We have a lot of free time because we don't need to work. There are many activities for old people in our town. On Mondays we play chess. On Tuesdays, we go dancing. On Thursdays, we go swimming. On Fridays, we go for long walks. Sometimes, we go on short bus trips to different places or visit a museum. We're never bored. It's not a bad life!

Jack's mom

I'm a working mom, so I don't have much free time. When I get home, I cook dinner, watch a little TV, and then go to bed. On the weekends, I like spending time with my kids. We go fishing or biking if the weather's nice. I like walking too. It's relaxing but the kids always say that it's boring.
