Nearly everyone wants to be successful. But it is can be very hard to be successful, though. Here is some advice to help you:
Plan for success
Wanting success is not enough. You have to plan for it. Ask yourself: How am I going to become
successful? What do I have to learn to achieve the success I want? And how long will it take me to get it? These questions will help you plan for your success.
Form good habits
If you study the lives of successful people, you’ll find that they have excellent work habits. Edison, for example, had a habit of always coming up with new ideas, and this helped him become one of the greatest inventors (發(fā)明家). Forming such habits can be boring, but very useful.
Never stop learning
Successful people never stop learning. They never say, “I’ve learned enough. There’s nothing more I need to know.” You have to understand that the moment you stop learning is the moment you stop progressing (進(jìn)步).We live in an ever-changing (不斷變4匕的)world, and need to be able to keep up with it.
Let failure (失。﹊mprove you
It’s okay to fail; it happens to everyone. Michael Jordan, one of the most successful basketball players ever, used to say that his failures were what drove him to be useful. Learning from your mistakes is what will put you on the road to the success you want.
