Maybe everyone has trouble in learning new words. It is not easy to remember and use them correctly. The following suggestions will help you a lot.

(A)      It can be a good idea to divide the new words into groups according to the meanings. It can help you remember them more easily.

(B)      Some words, such as " sing a song"， "read a book” ，usually go together，and they are called collocations(搭配).It is important to remember them in that form. Thinking about the connections(聯(lián)系)between words may help you to remember them.

(C)      Pay more attention to the words that have similar meanings. Look them up in a dictionary to find out their English meanings. It is very helpful for you to understand and use the words correctly(準(zhǔn)確地).

(D)      You can also write a list of some new words. Express your ideas with them and discuss the uses of these words as much as possible. The more you practice, the better you will use them.

However, there is one more thing you should pay attention to.

(E)      Don't try to learn too many words at one time. Choose several important ones to you. Repeat their pronunciations, spellings as well as their meanings in your mind. Learn a little every day and you will learn a lot in a few years. It is the skills that can make you learn new words easily.
