   Shanghai,on the east coast of China,is the biggest city in the country. It has a population of about 23 million,much larger than Hong Kong. There are lots of buildings and places of interest,and it is especially famous for the 468-metre-high Oriental Pearl Tower,so it is very popular with tourists. Shanghai is on the Huangpu River and is an old city about 800 years old,but it is much newer than Hong Kong. Shanghai is very hot in summer and quite cold in winter,very different from Hong Kong.
