1．One day while a beggar （乞丐） was walking along from door to door begging，he was wondering why rich people were so greedy （貪婪的） and were always wanting more．

Just at that moment，the Fortune （財(cái)神） came down the street．She said to him，"Listen!I have long wished to help you．Hold your wallet and I will pour this gold into it，but if it falls into the wallet，it shall be gold； if it falls on the ground，it shall become dust （塵土）．Do you understand？"
"Oh，yes，I understand，"said the beggar．
"Then take care，"said the Fortune．"Your wallet is old．It can't hold much．"
