A US blog website for volleyball fans created a new word for Chinese volleyball player Zhu Ting. “ZHUperb!” the word combines(結(jié)合) “Zhu” and “superb”, to describe the 24-year-old player’s dominance(支配地位) on the court(球場(chǎng)).

At the beginning, because of her 1.98-meter height, Zhu found it difficult to move fast and hold her weight on her feet. But Lang encouraged her to take advantage of her height. She trained her to jump high to smash the ball(扣殺). After this, she became an ace spiker(主攻). Now she treats her height as an advantage of her physical strength.

Zhu still works hard during training. “Hard work and talent are both important. I’ll move forward step by step.” she said.
