   One day during the summer holidays, Jason was at home feeling bored. His friends were away travelling. Without his friends, Jason felt as though there was nothing interesting to do. He wished for something exciting to happen.

His mother had made him a sandwich for lunch. He found that the bread was not fresh, so he tore (衞碎) the sandwich into small pieces and threw them out of the kitchen window so that his mother would not know he had not eaten the sandwich.
