Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft, has many admirers. So does his house.

Gates lives in a mansion(豪宅) which lies in Medina, Washington. It covers over 66,000 square feet and overlooks Lake Washington. In the house, there are 7 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms 6 fireplaces, 6 kitchens and a 1000-square-foot dining room. Nicknamed Xanadu(昵稱世外桃源) 2.0, it took seven years to build the house and it is worth about $148 million.

Gates’ background allowed him to design(設(shè)計) his house with all kinds of high-tech equipment(設(shè)備). Hidden cameras and floor sensors(傳感器) are everywhere. But that isn’t all the technology this house has to offer. If you are invited to be a guest at Xanadu 2.0, you will wear a smart chip(芯片). Your details will be sent to the chip and it will help to control the objects for each room you walk into. All of the rooms have their own touch-pads to control every way of the room. Gates managed to bring his technological brilliance(聰明才智) to his house.
