If you go into the forest (森林) with friends, stay with them. If you don't,you may get lost (丟失) .If you get lost, this is what you should do. Sit down and stay where you are. Don't try to find your friends. Let them find you. You can help them find you by staying in one place. There is another way to help your friends or other people to find you. You can shout or whistle (吹口哨) three times. Stop. Then shout or whistle three times again. Any signal (信號) given three times is a call for help.

We spent a day in the country and picked a lot of flowers. Our car was full of flowers inside! On the way home we had to stop at traffic lights, and there my wife saw the bookshelf.

It stood outside a furniture (家具) shop. "Buy it," she said at once. "We'll carry it home on the roofrack (;車頂架) .I've always wanted one like that."

What could I do? Ten minutes later I was twenty dollars poorer, and the bookshelf was tied on to the roofrack. It was tall and narrow, quite heavy too.

As it was getting darker,I drove slowly. Other drivers seemed more polite than usual that evening. The police even stopped traffic to let us through. Carrying furniture was a good idea.
