  April Fool's Day is a traditional day to play jokes on others. No one knows how this 

holiday began, but it was thought to begin in France.

 Once, New Year's Day was celebrated on March 25 in France and celebrations lasted until April 1st. If a trick is played on you, you are a "noodle".

   On that day you can play jokes by saying, "Your shoelace's untied ！" And setting roommates' alarm clock back an hour is also a common idea.
