Withthedevelopmentofeconomy,ipadsaremoreandmorewidelyusedinourdailylife.However,someparentsandteachershavedifferentideasaboutifthestudentsshoulduseipadsatschool

Some teachers are for it. They think that using ipads in class can make students more interested in study. On the other hand, teachers can learn about whatstudents have learned more quickly and easily so that they can teach more effectively. What's more, with the help of ipads, teachers can correct students' homework in a short time, as a result of which, much time can be saved. However, some parents are strongly against it. They hold the opinion that some students can'tcontrol themselves and often play games on iPads. Secondly, using ipads too much does great harm to students' eyes. What's worse, it costs much money to buy a new iPad.

In my opinion, Ithink it is good for students to use iPads in class. Firstly, students can learn more in class using iPads. At the same time, parents andteachers should do something to help students use iPads in a right way. Only in thisway can iPads be of help to their studies.

【題目】(C).閱讀與回答問題。

Zheng He was a famous Chinese explorer. In 1405, he set off from China on the first seven great voyages. This was nearly a century before Christopher Columbus fast set sail on his journey of discovery to America. His travels were so important that they are still studied today.

Zheng He was born in Yunnan in 1371. He rose to become a trusted official of the Yongle Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The emperor ordered Zheng He to visit and explore the islands outside China. His task was to develop relations and set up trade routes with foreign countries. In a few years, he built a great fleet of ships, the biggest in the world at that time. The ships were known as treasure ships. They were big enough to carry 25,000 people as well as very large number of goods.

From 1405 to 1433, Zheng He went on seven trips and visited South-East Asia, the Middle East and even the east coast of Africa. It seemed that nowhere was too far for him to visit. These voyages allowed China to trade valuable goods like gold, silver and silk. At the end of each voyage. Zheng He returned with many things that were seen in China for the first time, such as a giraffe from Africa. Besides developing trade, the voyages also encouraged the exchange of cultures and technologies. They helped the development of those countries.

【題目】 “Why do I live? Why do I wish for anything, or do anything? Is there anything my my life that will not be destroyed by my death?” Like Leo Tolstoy, the famous Russian writer, many people ask these difficult questions. Tolstoy spent his whole life trying to answer these difficult questions.

As a young man, he thought people could achieve perfection if they tried hard enough. So he worked very hard to be the best in everything. He thought that he would find meaning and truth in success.

In the 1850s, Tolstoy wrote his first stories. He wrote about his life in the army. He also told stories about his childhood. These works were published and Tolstoy became a well-known writer.

He earned the respect he always wanted. Many rich and smart men met and talked with Tolstoy. Some of them were writers like him. They talked a lot about faith(信仰) and the meaning of life. But soon Tolstoy recognized that these men were not perfect. Now he knew they could not answer his questions about faith.

So in the 1860s, Tolstoy tried a different way to find the meaning of life. He opened a school for the children of his serfs— the people who worked on his land. These workers were very poor. He wanted to help them because he thought they were more honest than the rich people he knew.

Tolstoy learned a lot from his workers. He understood how they worked hard to support their families. He began to believe that marriage and family would give his life meaning. So in 1862, Leo Tolstoy married a young woman named Sonya Behrs.

The next 15 years were the best years of Tolstoy’s life. It was during this time that he wrote his most famous books— War and Peace and Anna Karenina. Many experts say that War and Peace is one of the greatest books ever written. In these books, Tolstoy believed humans should live a simple life and take care of their families.
