【題目】Answer the questions.(根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容回答問題)

Through One Direction (1D. remains extremely popular, it seems their name may no longer be correct.

Before the band started, its name already fit its members well. All five-Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall and Zayn-were competing in 2010’s season of The X Factor. All five were also cut from the TV talent show before reaching the finals. However, the program’s judges decided to group the five together. The band took only third place but was immediately offered around a 2 million pound record deal.

One Direction did not perform like second runner-ups, but like champion. Their first single “What Makes You beautiful” topped U. K. charts in 2011. UP All Night”, their first album, was a bestseller in both Great Britain and the United States. They sold out their first tour in minutes and developed their products lines. By 2012, they were performing at the London Olympics.

One Directions success continued through four albums in only three years. But trouble began when the band returned to the road in 2015. After frequent absences during the tour, Zayn suddenly made his departure from the band. He left to be “a normal 22-Year-old” and live “out of the spotlight”. The band seemed to make a statement with their single “Drag Me Down” that summer. By fall, however, they decided to take a break starting in 2016.

In November 2015, they released “Made in the A M.”, their most recent album. All the boys were pursuing their own projects by the time it went Platinum. Harry is taking part in a film while Louis is enjoying fatherhood. Two plan to enter business-Liam in producing music and hill with a golf agency. Meanwhile, Zayn has already launched his own music career. Is One direction taking a break or breaking up?

Eat Less Meat, Please!

There are many ways to save the Earth. We can use less water, plant more trees, d1 less and bike more. Now, some scientists have put forward one more way to avoid dangerous climate change—eat less meat.

Their new research finds farm animals like caws and pigs p2 much more greenhouse gases than we thought. W3 action, the influence will become far worse as the world population continues to grow. And, as global income rises, more people will afford and eat meat-rich diets.

One of the researchers is Johan Rockstrom. He is a professor from Germany. “Feeding a world population of ten billion is p4, but only if we change how we eat,” the scientist said. “Greening food production creating up our planet—this is what is on the menu today.”

A U.N. report also warns that eating less meat and dairy is important. The current trends, however, are in the o5 direction. Rockstrom calculated that on average we needed to eat 75 percent less beef, 90 percent less pork and half the number of eggs. Education, taxes and changes to school and workplace menus can help achieve this goal.

In some countries, people have become more aware of the importance of changing their diets. In the Netherlands, young people have been eating less meat. “We know food choices are very personal. That behavior change can be difficult” said Rockstrom. “But the evidence is how clear. We need to change our d6 if we want to save our planet.”
