I walked down the hall to the pay phone. My mama is the best person on the earth, and I knew this was going to break her heart. When I heard her voice on the phone, I told her where I was. She just said, “Son, no matter what you did, I love you forever(永遠).
Her words gave me the confidence to face my trouble(麻煩). And I also realized(意識到) this was my chance to start a new life.
When people hear my words, I hope they will not make the same mistake(錯誤) as I have, but I know that you can overcome(克服) almost anything, especially smoking drug. That’s why I share my story here.

Dear Alice,
You really have two difficult questions here, so we’ll discuss them one at a time. Your problems at school may be a result of a number of things. You don’t say much about how these classmates get along with each other. It’s possible that all the students are feeling a little cautions(謹慎) in the first term.
It’s also possible that the others are unkind. If this is so, you have to find out why you are the class “outsider”.
In your letter you often offer to help others with their work. Is it possible that your classmates didn’t understand your offers? Could it seem that you were trying to “buy” friends with these offers?
Is it possible that you took no notice of your classmates when you had your good friends near you? They may have left hurt at that time. It may take a time for them to believe in you. If so, try to ask one classmate directly what the problem is. If you hear a negative(負面的) answer,at least you’ll know what to do.

Body language is the quiet, secret and most powerful language of all! It is said that our body movements communicate about 50 percent of what we really mean while words only express 7 percent. So, while your mouth is closed, your body is just saying..
Arms. How you hold your arms shows how open and receptive(能容納的) you are to people you meet. If you keep your arms to the sides of your body or behind your back, this suggests you are not afraid of anything. Outgoing people generally use their arms with big movements, while quieter people keep them close to their bodies. If someone upsets you, just cross your arms to show you're unhappy!
Head. When you want to appear confident, keep your head level(水平). However, to be friendly in listening or speaking, you must move your head a little.
Legs. Your legs will move around a lot more than usual when you are nervous or telling lies.
Posture(姿勢). A good posture makes you feel better about yourself. If you are feeling unhappy, you usually don't sit straight, with your shoulders inwards. This makes breathing more difficult and makes you feel nervous or uncomfortable.
