Many young British people like to join the Scout Movement．This is a worldwide youth movement which aims to help children and young people to grow up into confident and responsible adults．It started in Britain，but has millions of members around the world．
The Scout Movement started in 1907．The man who started it was called Robert Baden-Powell and he was an army officer．He believed that healthy exercise could help young men and boys grow into useful citizens．
