Today sending text messages(短信) is part of our lives. According to a survey, a third of the U. S. children send more than 100 text messages a day. Sending text messages is becoming more and more popular among young people in China, too. Children prefer text-messaging to communicate with friends no matter where they are, even under the noses of parents and teachers. It seems that some children are "addicted (上癮)" to texting. Actually sending too much is bad for their lives, health and study.
