Two years ago, I watched the film Everest, in which adventurers get stuck on the mountain during a snow storm. I immediately knew I had to start climbing. It's not the reaction most people have to that film; maybe I just needed more adventure in my life. But six months later, I climbed my first mountain, Mount Whitney, in California-North America's highest peak (頂峰).

In the summer of 2017, I decided to climb the highest peak in every European country. Growing up in Sweden, I was encouraged by my father to be outdoors all the time, but I wasn't a serious adventurer. I wanted to see if someone ordinary like me could climb mountains.

I didn't do any preparation for the first mountain in Europe, which was Mount Elbrus in Russia. It was exhausting, but I thought I would get fit climbing the rest, and I did.

Climbing mountains is an experience that is hard to put into words. You are in a beautiful environment and, when your each the top, you feel incredible (不可思議的). But you also have to climb down, which is when most accidents happen. I don't climb mountains that I am not ready for, but each one I climb takes me to the next step

I wanted to end the project at home, on Sweden's highest peak (2,097m) .It has two peaks: the north is rocky, and the south is icy. So alongside my camera assistant, I climbed both while wearing a superhero suit. It didn't feel as special as I'd hoped when I reached the top, but when I posted on Inst gram, people started congratulating me, I felt proud.

In total, I spent about ?50,000 (378,240yuan), which is double what I had planned, but I eventually climbed 61 mountains in Europe.

You have to work on your weak sides while climbing. I don't like not being in control, but you can not control anything on a mountain. It's made me a better person. When you're on a mountain for hours alone with your thoughts, it's like meditation (冥想). It makes you so much stronger, physically, and mentally.

My goal now is always to have a mountain in my calendar. One day I will climb Mount Qomolangma (known as Everest by the West) when I'm ready for it.

In 1987, a small company named Huawei was started in Shenzhen. After more than 30 years of development, the company has now beaten Apple and become the world’s second-largest maker of smartphones behind Korea’s Samsung. It has also become the world’s largest supplier(供應(yīng)商) of 5G.

But recently, Huawei faced some difficulties. The U.S. government ordered a ban(禁令) on its sales in America. American officials said Huawei gave information that it collected to the Chinese government. At the same time, the U. S. government planned to stop selling parts and services to Huawei, which was believed that Huawei’s business would be hurt.

“We have never received such a request from the Chinese government and we have never tried to get into other systems to collect information.” Ren Zhengfei, Huawei’s founder and president said. “This ban from the U.S. would have little effect on our company. Huawei has enough ability to deal with the problems.” Ren added.

In an interview several years ago, Ren Zhengfei said, “I started Huawei with only

£4,000 at the beginning, but now it has become a $100 billion company. The experience was not as romantic as you imagine.”

Facing the ban of the U.S., Huawei is growing. Huawei’s smartphone sales around the world rose 50 percent compared to a year earlier in the first three months of 2019. At the same time, sales from both Samsung and Apple fell. So far, Huawei has grown into the world’s largest telecommunications equipment( 電信設(shè)備) supplier, selling in 170 countries! It may beat Samsung as the largest smartphone maker in the near future.

A.Huawei’s sales in America were growing faster than Apple.

B.Huawei refused to supply services to the U.S. government.

C.They didn’t want Apple to sell parts and services to Huawei.

D.They thought Huawei, collected information for the Chinese government.

2.From what Ren Zhengfei said, we can learn that Huawei .

A.is deeply affected by the ban

B.has got into the system of the U.S.

C.can solve the problems they are facing

D.is asked to supply information to China

3.What does the writer want to tell us in the last paragraph?

A.Huawei is full of hope.

B.Huawei will grow slowly.

C.Huawei’s sales will be doubled.

D.Huawei is the largest smartphone maker.

Open an app, place your order, and wait for your food to be delivered(遞送)to your home-this is how many people eat in China these days. According to the latest report, 421 million Chinese people use online food delivery services. That's about half of the total number of internet users in China.

Which group of people is ordering food online the most? It's mainly young people. Meituan, a food delivery service, showed that 86.3 percent of the service's users are between 20 and 34 years old. These people, who live in small families, are driving the development of the food delivery industry. Small families depend greatly on food delivery services.

Chinese families have changed in size over the past years. In 2002, only 7.7 percent of them were single-person families. But this number increased to 15.6 percent in 2017. The two-person families rose from 18.4% in 2002 to 27.2% in 2017. For small families, cooking needs more time and materials, so ordering food online has become more popular.

The food delivery services have become much faster than before at present. According to Meituan's report, the time it takes to make a food delivery dropped from 38 minutes in 2016 to 29 minutes in 2019. Many delivery platforms(平臺(tái))are also offering more services, delivering products such as fruit, vegetables, medicine and flowers. More and more customers are interested in the improvement of China's food delivery services. As its services continue to improve, it's possible that the food delivery industry will keep growing.

根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,判斷正(T)、誤(F)

1.There are about 850 million internet users in China now.
