Last week we did a survey about whether it is good to dance to Gangnam Style instead of doing morning exercises at school. Many students agree with dancing to Gangnam Style when they are doing morning exercises. They know very well that most of them don’t do the exercises seriously, and one important reason is that the exercises are too boring. Changing the movements into those in Gangnam Style will make them more interested. They like doing exercises this way. They also think they are fashionable.

However, some students don’t think so. Although the crazy song is very popular, it isn’t suitable for them . And it doesn’t exercise their whole bodies as the normal exercises do. Also it may be bad for their study.

In my opinion, the world changes quickly. Dancing to Gangnam Style shows that the schools are keeping up with the times. It’s good and we should encourage it.

(In my opinion, we don’t need to make a fuss（大驚小怪）about it. No matter whether the dance is fashionable or odd, people in these schools should have the right to choose what they want to do. If they think it’s good, then that’s enough for me. I believe that after some time, those schools will go back to normal exercises. So why not let the students have more fun, if only for a short while?)
