根據(jù)“I’m not feeling very well.我感覺(jué)不舒服”推測(cè)此處應(yīng)該是推測(cè)自己可能又感冒了,位于主語(yǔ)I之后,故選seem

2句意:我所能做的就是吃些藥和不緊張。

連詞and前后表達(dá)的意思應(yīng)該是都有利于康復(fù)的語(yǔ)句,同時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)也應(yīng)該相同,and前是短語(yǔ)take some medicine吃藥,后面的動(dòng)詞也應(yīng)該用原型。故填take it easy。

考查help的用法,此處是if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句,if后從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),幫助某人做某事用help sb. do sth. 故填get better。

考查形容詞用法,從“Chinese medicine is made from plants.”

考查固定搭配,分析句意可知,此處應(yīng)該表達(dá)的是迫不及待做某事,迫不及待做某事用 can’t wait to do sth.。故填can’t wait。

Want to stay away from colds? Put on a happy face.

Compared to unhappy people, those who are cheerful and relaxed are less likely to suffer from colds, according to a new study. It’s possible that being happy helps the body fight illnesses, say the researchers from New York University.

“It seems that positive feelings may reduce the danger of illness,”said the study’s chief researcher Sheldon Cohen.

In an earlier study, Cohen found that people who were cheerful and lively caught coughs and colds less often. People who showed feelings were also less likely to tell their doctors that they felt ill.

In this study, Cohen’s interviewed 193 adults every day for two weeks. During the interviews, the people were given colds by doctors and had to stay alone in a cold room for six days.

The results showed that everyone in the study was equally likely to get ill. But for people who said they felt happy during the research period, their illnesses were less serious and lasted for a shorter time.

Cohen believes that when people experience positive feelings, their body may produce a chemical that helps fight illnesses and diseases. So if you are worried about your health, look on the bright side more often.

When I was small, my mom used to give the family a funny special treat from time to time- she would make breakfast food for dinner.

I remember she did so one night. She had been at work all day but wanted to do something special for us all. On that evening, my mom put a plate of eggs and very burnt toast (面包)in front of my dad. I waited to see if anyone notice. But my dad just took his toast, smiled at my mom and asked me how my day at school had been. I don`t remember what I told him that night. But I remember watching him put butter on that toast. He ate it up as usual.

After dinner, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. I will never forget what he said, “Honey, I love burnt toast.” Later that night, I went to kiss daddy good night. For an Olympic gold medalist(金牌得主), what is the difference between the first gold and the second one? Zhou Yang knows the answer.

On Feb 15, the 22-year-old short track speed skater(短道速滑運(yùn)動(dòng)員)successfully kept her 1,500m Olympic gold at the Sochi Winter Games.
