【題目】 Many Chinese students are trying their best to pass English tests like the TOEFL and IELTS. At the same time, many non-native Chinese speakers are struggling to learn Chinese and pass the HSK.
The HSK is the official test for non-native Chinese speakers. Passing it can give non-native speakers new work or education opportunities. It has been offered since 1992. Each of the exam’s six levels includes three parts: listening, grammar practice and reading. In 2018, the HSK was taken 6.8 million times, up 4.6 percent from 2017, according to the Ministry of Education.
Schools in countries around the world are starting to offer more Chinese language programs. That’s because trade and cultural exchanges between China and other countries are continuing to increase, China Daily reported.
For example, the Zambian government has announced in May that it will roll out(推出) Mandarin(普通話) classes in over 1,000 secondary schools starting in 2020. It will be the largest Chinese language program in Africa, the Financial Mail reported. Zambia will become the fourth country on the continent — after Kenya, Uganda and South Africa — to offer Chinese language programs in its schools.
Starting this year, Russian middle school students can take Chinese as a foreign language on Russia’s national college entrance exam, Sputnik News reported.

【題目】閱讀下面的材料,根據(jù)材料內(nèi)容回答問題。
Chinese people start to prepare for the Spring Festival more than 20 days ahead. The 12th lunar month in Chinese is called la yue, so the eighth day of this lunar month is la yue chu ba, or laba. The day is also known as the Laba Rice Porridge Festival. The Laba this year falls on Jan. 24. Two of the customs on Laba are remembering the ancestors and eating Laba rice porridge.
Remember the ancestors: At the end of the year, working people get more free time to prepare for the sacrifice (供奉) to the ancestors. The reason the 12th lunar month is called La Yue has a lot to do with the custom of sacrifice. First, the worship (崇敬) of ancestors, called “臘” in Chinese, and the sacrifice for the gods, called “蠟” both often took place in the 12th month, which led to the traditional name of the month: la yue. Second, winter is the relaxed season for farmers so they have time to find things to bum in the sacrifice.
Laba rice porridge: There are several stories about the start of porridge eating on Laba: Some say it is of Buddhist origin (佛教) ; some say the porridge, made of red beans, can keep children away from evil things; others say the porridge is in memory of a poor couple. The custom of porridge eating has been well-known throughout history. The most wonderful porridge was made in northern China, especially the capital of our country. The main ingredients of the Laba porridge are rice and sticky rice. People also add sugar, red dates, lotus seeds, walnuts and other different kinds of materials to make the porridge special.
【1】What do people usually do on Laba according to the passage?
【2】The eighth lunar month in Chinese isn't called la yue, is it?
【3】When is the Laba this year?
【4】What is called "臘" in Chinese?
【5】Where is the best porridge made?
