After I moved to the US with my family,I experienced many “first times”. The one that I will never forget is my 16 musical show.
I acted a police officer in a musical called Guys and Dolls in the 17 ,and had only one line (臺詞) to sing.
Our teacher,Ms O’Connor, was a serious artist. Under 18 strict training,we were close to giving a great show. I was very excited when I imagined how 19 I would look on stage in my beautiful clothes.
But soon,I started to feel 20 every time I said my line. I felt that the audience were all looking at me. Was I doing OK? Were my clothes pretty? 21 the worries,my movements (動作) and expression became unnatural. I couldn’t even 22 others in the show, just like a walking robot.
23,Ms O’Connor helped me. She saw I was nervous and said to me, “I 24 how you feel. It is natural. As I always tell my students, you should love the art in 25 ,not yourself in art ”
What she said is 26 . It’s not about how much the audience like us. It’s about how hard we try to 27 . When we love the art in ourselves,we don't mind 28 we are acting alone or in front of the audience. So I began to forget myself on stage and face the audience naturally.
The 29 in our school was a success at last. It is also one of the most 30 lessons that I have learned in my life.

Is the whale the world’s largest fish? No. It looks like a fish, but it is not. Then what’s the world’s largest fish? It's the whale shark.
Although the whale shark is our biggest fish and lives in many seas around the world, few people have ever heard of it. Scientists have not studied whale sharks for very long. So we know little about them.
A whale shark is sometimes called “a gentle giant (溫柔的巨人) ” It likes to be alone and doesn’t care a bit about divers or humans. The biggest whale shark weighed 55 ,500 kg and was nearly 20 metres long.
Inside its huge mouth are great numbers of very small teeth. To count all of them, you’ll need to do some maths. The whale shark’s teeth are arranged in rows. There are between eleven and thirteen rows on each jaw (顎) and around three hundred teeth in each row.
However, the whale shark rarely uses its teeth. It does not chew or bite its food. Large amounts of water is pulled into its mouth and then pushed out through its gills (鰓) .
For a few months every year,a group of whale sharks come to Ningaloo Reef, off West Australia.
This gives scientists a wonderful chance to study the large fish. Whale sharks do live in other seas of the world, but no one knows their population. It is possible that our biggest fish may need protecting. It is one of the reasons why scientists continue to learn about these gentle giants.
