Snake dishes have become popular in recent years.Snake meat is often seen in restaurants. It seems that eating snake is now in fashion and if you haven't eaten snake yet, you're considered “out of date!
But I wonder whether all of the trends(趨勢(shì))are worth following.
Some people may defend(辯解)themselves by saying that eating snake is good for their health. But these people don’t find out that mice and worms are often in snakes' bodies, therefore, there are many parasites(寄生蟲)found inside smkes.they may be bad for our health.
Apart from this,we're sorry to see that more snakes are being killed by a butcher's(廚師的) knife.
According to the English newspaper:Shanghai Star, about l000 tons of snakes are eaten every year in China. In Shenzhen of Guangdong Province, sometimes as many as 10 tons of snakes are served on dinner tables in a single day.
If we still turn a blind eye to this,a vicious circle(惡性循環(huán))will be created.if more snakes are eaten by people, the number of snakes will drop, but the number of mice will increase, which will result in a decrease(減少)crop output(產(chǎn)量).
This will make more people hungry.Who wants to see a tragedy(悲劇)happen?
Therefore, let’s not eat snake any more.To protect the snakes is to protect ourselves.

One day Henry Jackson was working in a restaurant kitchen. He picked up a dish from the table, and suddenly a snake appeared…and bit him on the hand.
“I went to try to pick it up and it bit me again. I threw it across the kitchen, and it landed in the fridge. So I closed the door,” Mr. Jackson said.
Anyway, Mr. Jackson stayed cool and he took a photo of the snake with his mobile phone. Soon his hand began to ache and he went to hospital. Then his chest began to hurt. Doctors couldn’t say what was wrong because they didn’t know what kind of snake it was. Then Mr. Jackson remembered his mobile phone photo. The doctors sent it to London Zoo.
