【題目】閱讀短文, 根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容回答問題。
Adam Braun set up the organization (組織) Pencils of Promise in 2008. Its goal is to make sure all children can go to school. Now, Pencils of Promise is building a new school somewhere every 90 hours. It has helped more than 22,000 children in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Adam Bruan had this idea of helping poor children go to school when he was a college student. He was visiting India when a boy stopped him and asked for money on the street. Mr. Bruan asked the boy what he would want, if he could have anything in the world.
“I thought the answer was going to be ‘a(chǎn) house’ or ‘a(chǎn) car’ or ‘a(chǎn) boat’. His answer was ‘a(chǎn) pencil’. So I gave him my pencil and he was just happy and excited. His answer made me understand the truth that he had never been to school before, and that was also the real life for 57 million children around the world,” Bruan said.
Adam Bruan started working in finance (金融) after he finished college. But he never forgot the boy and the true life for the poor children.
“We live in a world in which every child should have a chance(機(jī)會) to go to school, because we already have everything we need to give them good education. We are able to educate every child. So I decided to help change that world,” Bruan said.
Mr. Bruan collected money for his project. He paid for building the first Pencils of Promise school in Laos five years ago. Since then, his organization has helped pay for more than 200 schools in the countryside of Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.

【題目】When the bell rings, every student takes out an iPad. The light from the screens makes their young faces pretty and lively. That’s what happens every day at my school in the US. We use iPads in class.
I felt surprised and excited when I got an iPad the first day I arrived at the school. But it was not free. I spent about $100 to rent (租) it for three years.
Every iPad at my school has a special learning system (系統(tǒng)) called Focus. Teachers put their teaching materials(材料) like textbooks and PPTs on it. When we have classes, we enter the system and download (下載) the materials with our iPads.
It makes the classes interesting and efficient (高效的). For example, a few weeks ago, we learned about London in the UK. Our teacher prepared a video. Through the video, we saw many places of interest in London. We could not only watch the video, but also see the words at the same time. Because of the video, I know more about the city.
We also do our homework with iPads. We can know how well we do our homework right after we hand in our homework.
However, there are still some bad points about learning with iPads. Some of my classmates play games or surf the Internet in class.
I believe the key to use iPads well is to have good self-control (自制), isn’t it?
