SALT LAKE CITY The Utah Jazz announced (宣布) that the team signed a five  year-old boy JP Gibson to a one-day contract (合同) .The Utah Jazz has just made his dream come true. The boy has suffered from blood

國(guó)i cancer since 2012.

JP Gibson in uniform joined the Jazz for a practice game at 6 30 pm on October 6 , 2014. He signed his contract with Jazz President Randy Rigby at 5 30 pm in the Jazz interview room. JP was joined by his parents^ Josh and Megan, and his 2-year-old sister,Elsie. The family were interviewed by the Jazz.

Photographer Jon Diaz's “Anything Can Be” project provides support and hope to families  < like the Gibsons. Jon Diaz asks children with cancer what their dreams and wishes are,and he

writes their stories in a book.

JP^ mother Megan said, UJP loves most sports, but basketball is his favourite. When he was just over a year old,he would sit with his father watching games. He started shooting basket for an hour each night before bedtime when he was just 15 months old. He knows he has to be six before he can play Junior Jazz, and he reminds us all the time that he can't wait until he's six. ”

The Jazz signed JP to a one-day contract allowing him to be a part of the team, and even let him come in to the game to lay down a dunk (扣籃) .JP,wearing a No. 1 jersey (球衣) passed the ball and Rudy Gobert lifted him up so he could dunk and slap hands (ig-^) with some players. As fans, his dad Josh, mum Megan and two-year-old siste; Elsie cheered him on.
