There was once a lonely girl who was thirsty for love. One day while she was w 1 in the forest, she found two lovely songbirds. But the birds were so h 2 and weak that they could not sing any songs. The girl took them h 3 and put them in a small cage. She cared for them with 1 4 and the birds grew stronger. Every morning they g 5 her with a wonderful song. The girl felt great love for the birds.

One day the girl left the door of the cage open. The larger and s 6 one of the two birds flew from the cage. The girl was afraid that he would fly a 7 . So when the bird flew close, she caught him quickly. She was glad that the bird did not fly away. But she held him too tight, and the bird d 8 in her hand. She opened her hand and sadly looked at the dead bird. She knew that her love killed him.

The other bird was moving back and forth in the cage. She knew he wanted very much to fly in the c 9 blue sky. So she opened the door of the cage. The bird flew out and circled once, twice, three times...

The girl looked h 10 at the bird's enjoyment. Suddenly he flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. He sang her the sweetest song.

The fastest way to lose love is to hold on it too tight;the best way to keep love is to give it wings!

When the bell rings, every student takes out an iPad. The light from the screens makes their young faces pretty and lively.

That's what happens every day at my school in the US. We use iPads in class.I felt surprised and excited when I got an iPad the first day I arrived at the school. But it was not free. I paid about $ 100 (about 620 yuan) to rent it for three years.

Every iPad at my school has a special learning system called Focus. Teachers put their teaching materials like textbooks and PPTs on it. When we have classes,we enter the system and download the materials with our iPads.

It makes the classes interesting and efficient. For example, several weeks ago,we learned about former South African president Nelson Mandela. Our teacher prepared a video in which Mandela made an encouraging speech. We could not only watch the video, but also check the transcript (文字稿) at the same time. Because of the video,I know more about the great man.

We also do our homework with iPads. If the homework is made up of multiple choices,we can know our grade right after we submit our homework. If it's essays, teachers grade them online, without needing to look through so many papers.

However, there are still some bad points about learning with iPads. Some of my classmates play games or log on social networking websites in class.

I believe the key to use iPads well is to have good self-control. Isn’t it?

   B. It may take a lot of time for teachers to grade essays.

   C. Most students use iPads to log on social networking websites.

   D. The key to using iPads is to have good self-control.
