【題目】閱讀下列短文,根據(jù)短文中的信息完成文后表格。在答題卡標(biāo)有題號(hào)的橫線上,寫出空缺處所填單詞的正確形式。(每空一詞)
One evening, Zhang Luyang was working on her math homework. The 12-year-old girl from Sichuan opened the Tik Tok, known as Douyin, to watch some short videos. She just wanted to take a short break, but half an hour later, she was still watching short videos.
Zhang is one of many teenagers who enjoy watching short videos on apps like Douyin. The videos typically last from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. According to a survey by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, 20 percent of teenagers watch short videos during whatever free time they have. About 10 percent check short video apps several times a day.
Sun Zhenyao, a 14-year-old boy from Anhui, says he likes short videos because they are interesting. “It’s the perfect thing to do when I want to kill small amounts of time,” he said.
Zhang says she learns a lot by watching short videos. She follows a Chinese vlogger living in the US on Douyin. The vlogger does funny things, like selling pancakes on the street and inviting foreigners to watch The Wandering Earth, she said, “His videos teach me about cultural differences.”
However, Zhang and Sun also say they sometimes waste too much time watching short videos. Apps like Douyin and Kuaishou have features that prevent users from watching videos for too long. Users can use “teen mode”, which sets 40 minutes a day for watching short videos. Sun says this has helped him cut down the amount of time he spends watching videos.

【題目】 When Tom was growing up, other kids felt sorry for him. His parents always had him doing too much housework. But when Tom was an adult, he had more job satisfaction, a better marriage (婚姻) and was healthier. Most of all, he was far happier.
These are the findings of a 40-year study that followed the lives of 456 teenage boys from Boston. The study showed that those who had worked as boys enjoyed happier and more worthwhile lives than those who had not. "Boys who worked in the home or community gained the ability to do things well and came to feel they were useful members of society," said George Vaillant, the psychologist (心理學(xué)家) who made the discovery. "And because they felt good about themselves, others felt good about them."
Vaillant's study followed these males in great detail. Interviews were repeated at ages 25, 31 and 47. Under Vaillant, the researchers compared the men's mental-health (心理健康) scores with their boyhood-activity scores. Points were awarded for part-time jobs, housework, effort in school, and ability to deal with problem.
The relationship between what the men had done as boys and how they turned out as adults was surprisingly sharp. Those who had done the most boyhood activities were twice as likely to have warm relations with different people, five times as likely to be well paid and 16 times less likely to have been out of job. The researchers also found that IQ and family social and economic class made no real difference in how the boys turned out.
