OK,everyone. As it’s the start of the season,I want to remind you all about our team rules. So,first of all,no friends or family members are allowed in the changing room. Also a new rule — each week a different pair of students will have to check that no one has left anything behind after every game. That way I hope you won’t lose as many of your things as last season.
Next,some rules about games. It's a big problem for the team if someone is missing,so please call me as soon as possible if there’s a problem. Half an hour before the game isn’t good enough. Even two or three hours doesn’t really give me enough time. I need at least 24 hours’ notice. Of course,I know sometimes there will be last-minute emergencies(突發(fā)事件) . If I'm not available,then please call our new assistant(助理的)coach,Jim Myerson,at 099879654.
Now,I hope you like the new red team shirts. I think they* re pretty cool. And I don’ t want anyone to wear black or white shorts and socks — remember only blue is acceptable.
When we have games away from home,it’ s really important to arrive 30 minutes before the game. So we can have enough time to warm up. It meahs the bus must leave on time. So can I ask you all to arrive at least 10 minutes before leaving?
OK. I think that’s almost everything. Just a word about the dates of each game. The first one is on the 30th of September,not August,as it says on the calendar given last Monday. Good. Any questions?
