Winter sports have become something new. It is taking China by storm in the last few years. Skiing (滑雪) and snowboarding have become very popular. Development has given many people more money to join these sports.

There are dangers in snow sports. One should know something basic about the sports in order to do the sport in safety. The first thing that must be taken care of is the place you wish to use. People like to go skiing in mountains. You may know that every skiing area has a danger rating (等級(jí)). You must pay attention to these so that you can keep yourself away from dangers.

The second thing is that you must be in good shape for all this exercise. What you eat is very important to keep your health up and if you haven’t seen a doctor for a body exam in a while, please do.

The third thing is that you must have the right equipment (裝備). Also, never try to ski alone, so bring a friend. If there is an accident, you must try to keep warm and wait for others to save you.
