Disneyland Park is a theme park(主題公園). The first Disneyland Park, which opened in California, USA on July 17, 1955, is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company.
In addition to the first Disneyland Park in California, USA and some other four Disneyland parks in the world, Mickey Mouse and his friends could be possibly welcoming visitors to Shanghai’s own Disneyland Park in 2016. A Hong Kong newspaper reported this news over the weekend.
Shanghai Disneyland Park will be on the east bank of Shanghai’s Huangpu River, near Chuansha town, which is only 20 minutes’ drive from Pudong International Airport. It will be eight times larger than the one in Hong Kong, the first in China. It’s said that the park is about 10 square kilometers.
The Shanghai government once wanted Shanghai Disneyland Park to be built on Chongming Island. But many people and experts think this area hasn’t developed as fast as the city of Shanghai. Moreover, it’s too far away from Pudong International Airport.
Shanghai Disneyland Park will not follow Hong Kong’s operation model(運作模式), that is to say, the government rents the land to the Walt Disney Company. The Shanghai government will provide the land, pay for using the brand(商標), but it will have the power to control the park.

I worry about my boys. They waste a lot of time in front of the computer playing games. I'd rather they read or ran around outside. How can I limit(限制)the time my children spend playing games? Mrs Smith |
It might be best if you let the kids play games before doing their homework.Research shows that it's not a good idea to play them before going to bed, since they keep the kids from sleeping well, and that playing them after a learning activity can mitigate(減輕)the brain's ability. Alpreesh |
My kids are only allowed to play computer games at the end of the school week and only after they have done their homework. It's very clear to them, and they have accepted the rule happily. We have no more arguments during the week. It's really been good for us. Cage |
I personally find it difficult to set time limits but when they’re on the computer,I get some quiet time. I built and now use a simple timer program that lets me set time limits(like 1 hour each day). The program gives the kids an audible reminder like "5 minutes left", and they have to stop when their time is up. It has ended all the fighting over computer time in our house.
