Mr. Hunt was cutting a branch(樹枝)off a tree in his garden. While he was sawing(鋸), a man passed in the street. Seeing Mr. Hunt sitting on the branch, he stopped and said, “Excuse me, but if you keep sawing(繼續(xù)鋸樹)the branch like that, you will fall down(倒下)with it.” He said this because Mr. Hunt was sitting on the branch and cutting it at a place between himself and the trunk(樹干)of the tree.
