How to keep safe in chatting online

Remember that online friends are really strangers (陌生人). People online, no matter how long you have been talking to them or how friendly they are, may not be who they say they are.

Meeting someone you have only been in touch (接觸) with online can be dangerous. If you feel that you have to meet, you must tell your parents and take them with you—at least on the first visit—and meet in a public place in the daytime.

Stay calm in chat. Keep your personal information secret when chatting online (name, address, telephone number, mobile number, email address, pictures), even if people ask for this. Giving out personal information can make you dangerous.

Use a nickname (昵稱), not your real name, and a nickname that is not going to bring the wrong kind of meaning.

Tell your parents if someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or worried.

Learn how to keep a copy of the conversation (對話) in chat—this may be useful if you want to report something.

1.We should think the friends online as ________ in our real life.

A.real friends B.strangers C.family members D.teachers

2.We should ________ if we have to meet a friend online.

A.not tell our parents B.meet in a public place C.meet at night D.go by ourselves

3.In order to keep safe, we should ________.

A.try to make real friends online B.tell others more about us online

C.do something for someone if he makes us feel worried D.save a copy of the conversation in chat

Other people believe that we need to be open-minded (無偏見的) to the foreign (外國的) festivals and learn some western culture from them.

As I see, foreign festivals, such as Christmas, on the one hand, can bring happiness and joy to all of us; on the other hand, can offer (提供) a chance to the business. Some Chinese people also celebrate (慶祝) foreign festivals to enjoy something new and interesting to relax them in the modern city life.

As we all know, the government (政府) also cares more about the traditional festivals. People in China will have a day off when a traditional festival comes.

The world is getting smaller and smaller. We should pay more attention to (更關注) the traditional festivals to protect our culture. At the same time we can also celebrate the western festivals in order for cross-cultural (跨文化的) communication (交流).
