Papua New Guinea is the eastern part of the island of New Guinea. It has a population of just over eight million. The capital is Port Moresby. The country became independent from Australia in 1975. There are over 800 languages in Papua New Guinea. That's more languages than in any other country in the world.

Papua New Guinea is a land of mountains and rainforests. Most communities have little contact with each other or with the outside world. It's for this reason that so many different languages have developed.

I'm often asked the question “How did you become a reporter?” You see, everybody expected me to follow in my father's footsteps and become a doctor. Well, during my last year of school I visited a career counsellor (職業(yè)顧問(wèn)) named Lisa and I drove her crazy with my choices.

My first choice was a chocolate taster. Although Lisa didn't know the job well, she got me some information about it. I discovered that chocolate tasters make a lot of money, so I was sure I had found my dream job. To reach your full potential (潛力), you should live like a sportsperson. To live like a sportsperson, you need to have the following things.
