What is wrong with that dog? I thought later on, as I looked back to check on the small dog—it was moving much too fast for itself.

A few minutes later, I felt as if I was being watched, I looked behind me, but the dog had disappeared. Then, as I slowly turned my attention back to the road, I was greatly surprised to see a large koala at my feet and staring right up at me. A number of different solutions crossed my mind. But staying calm was the best. "Are you waiting to cross the road?" I asked the sweet koala. Miss Koala looked away, and scratched (抓撓) behind her ear.

Then it got up on all four feet and impatiently started to cross the road. I quickly checked for any cars, then walked to the road with my stop sign held high, whistle (吹哨) to my lips, and held my breath.

The koala made it to the other side of the street, then continued following the path through the trees and disappeared into bushes.

So why did the koala cross at the school crossing? To safely get to the trees on the other side!

FISH

First-time owners should consider getting cold-water fish as no tank (魚缸) heater is required. They should research what kinds of fish get along in the same tank, and be aware of life expectancies-some goldfish can live up to 20 years.

RABBITS

Though rabbits, or nickname bunnies, may seem like a lovely choice, they can live up to ten years and require an amount of care similar to that of a dog or cat. Once they're used to the new way of life, guinea pigs need daily exercise in a small room without cracks or holes for escape. BIRDS

Fond of a fixed timetable, birds require feeding at the same time each day. Cages should be cleaned daily and disinfected (消毒) weekly. Birds clean themselves by bathing in dishes of water and grow in cages big enough to spread their wings and fly a short time.

This traditional children's vehicle has become more welcomed over the years. And now, with a small electric motor, it's become a cheap and easy way of ______ .
