Mr. Stilwell was going away for a week. Before he left, he said to his son,“If anyone asks for me, you can tell him that your father has been out for doing something, and he will be back in a week, then ask him to sit down for a cup of tea.”
His son nodded (點(diǎn)頭). But he was afraid his son might forget this, he wrote these words down upon a piece of paper and gave it to his son. His son put it into his small pocket, and took it out to look at every word now and then.
