句中cause sth. to be done使得…被…
【小題2】A?
當(dāng)時(shí)正在下雨,所以用face the storm bravely.
而used to be表示"過(guò)去常常(現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不再那樣了)";promise to表示"允諾去做…";deserve to do表示"理應(yīng)做,值得做",均不符合文意與語(yǔ)境。
根據(jù)語(yǔ)境:make one's way through the crowds of people在人群中擠出一條路。make one's way to:表示"通往…";make one's way for:表示"讓步于…",均不合文意。
【小題8】A。
聯(lián)系下文Then I had to …
【小題12】A? be wet through:渾身濕透了。 My co-workers and I spent most of the day drying off.
【小題16】A? (show one's concern for sth表示"對(duì)…
【小題19】A?
