Dear Tom,
Thank you for your concern! But I regret to tell you that I was eliminated in the first part of the English Speaking Contest. The main reason is that I didn’t attach much importance to it and was not well prepared. Besides,when standing on the stage,I was so nervous that I made some mistakes.Though the judges thought highly of my skills of the speech,I had to face the fact.
