However, Tangshan has a total area of 13,472 square kilometers and 7,145 million inhabitants, Although it rains much less in Mianyang than in Tangshan, the two cities both enjoy a good climate. What’s more, Mianyang is known as an important base of scientific research, while Tangshan is famous as an industrial city with a long history.
Similarly, Mianyang and Tangshan both have been hit by big earthquakes and the people there have been making great efforts to rebuild their new homes ever since.
