I was traveling by myself in Mumbai, India. I enjoyed the free of going anywhere as I liked. However, I was confused to seeing the many choices of restaurants. I could see French restaurants, Japanese restaurants, Mexican restaurants and so on. After trying aimless for a few days, I began to miss Chinese food and went into Chinese restaurant. To my surprising, I found crowds of people in it. I haven't expected Chinese food could be so popular in India. The food was not exactly like which I ate at home and it was familiar enough to be comforting. An Indian customer share one table with me told me Chinese food is so popular that even restaurants serving for Indian food will usually include a Chinese section on the menu. But when he said, "We don't even think it's Chinese. It's very familiar and comforting.” I couldn't help feeling shocked.

1.freefreedom

2.seeingsee

3.aimlessaimlessly

4. Chinese前面加a

5.surprisingsurprise

6.haven’thadn’t

7.likewhat

8. andbut

9.sharesharing

be confused to do sth為固定用法,意為“對做某事感到困惑”,故將seeing改成see

to+one’s+n

分析可知not expect這個(gè)動(dòng)作發(fā)生在作者走進(jìn)一家中國餐館之前,作者走進(jìn)一家中國餐館(went into a Chinese restaurant)這個(gè)動(dòng)作發(fā)生在過去,過去某一時(shí)間或動(dòng)作以前已經(jīng)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作要用過去完成時(shí),這里的haven't expected為現(xiàn)在完成時(shí),時(shí)態(tài)使用錯(cuò)誤。

分析可知which I at eat home做介詞like的賓語,是一個(gè)賓語從句,連接詞在賓語從句中是ate的賓語。 故將which改成what

根據(jù)前文“ The food was not exactly like what I ate at home”可知作者這家餐館吃的東西跟在家吃的不是完全一樣,根據(jù)后文“ it was familiar enough to be comforting.” 故將and改成but。

Skypicker. com

Skypicker seems like the “explore” page of Kayak. com, but just provides flights within Europe, at very, very cheap price.

I once booked a $48 round trip between Ryanair and Nimes in the south of France at Skypicker. com. When I actually went to Ryanair to book, the cost was $55. think the final cost might be a bit more. But still, a good deal.
