A. is blamed B. is to blame
C. are blamed D. are to blame
【答案】D
【解析】
試題分析:考查動(dòng)詞用法及主謂一致。blame的用法為“be to blame”,排除AC. “be to blame for ”意為“對(duì)…應(yīng)負(fù)責(zé)任”。句意: 是人類所犯的錯(cuò)誤而不是自然災(zāi)害要為在山體滑坡事件中那么多無辜死難的人們承擔(dān)責(zé)任。It was … that 是一個(gè)強(qiáng)調(diào)句,被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分human errors, rather than the natural disaster是句中的主語,rather than連接兩個(gè)名詞或代詞作主語時(shí),謂語動(dòng)詞應(yīng)與其前面的名詞或代詞在人稱和數(shù)上保持一致,即就前原則。故選D。

【題目】Getting on with colleagues is more important to workers than a big salary, a new study has revealed.
A detailed study of work attitudes found that many factors outweigh the pay cheque, such as relationships with colleagues, self-worth, and the nature of the job itself. Eight in ten of the 2,000 people polled said they would turn down a big salary increase if it meant working with people or in an environment they didn’t like. The results showed people are the most important factor in work-related happiness, along with enjoying the role and getting on with the boss.
And a manageable commute was also considered more important than good pay, according to the study by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
Chief Executive Mark Farrar said: “The results show that, when it comes to working happiness, money is far from the driving factor for most of us.” “Of course, life dictates that we earn as much as we can to maintain or improve our circumstances, but most regarded working with good people or in a role they feel valued in as more important than the salary.” “Most of us will spend the biggest portion of our lives working and it’s important that any job we have enhances us both professionally and personally.”
“Many respondents had turned down higher paid jobs because it would have meant less time with the family and a poor work-life balance.”
The study also found a third had left a job despite it being well paid – mainly because they didn’t think it was worth the added pressure.
While others felt they weren’t given the right appreciation from senior staff or the role stopped challenging them. Three quarters would struggle to accept a job that gave them more money if they knew it would be a lot more stressful.
In fact, pay was only the sixth biggest factor for people staying in their current job, with Britons prioritizing good relationships with those around them, enjoying the role and the commuting time over thinking about the money.
Only 15 percent of the 2000 workers polled actively disliked their current job.
When asked why they were unhappy, respondents were more likely to feel the nature of the work was dull and unfulfilling or that their boss didn’t appreciate them than they were to say their pay was too low.

【題目】The Internet has opened up a whole new online world for us to meet, chat and go where we’ve never been before.
But just as in face to face communication, there are some rules of behavior that should be followed when on line. 【1】 Imagine how you’d feel if you were in the other person’s shoes.
For anything you’re about to send: ask yourself, “Would I say this to the person’s face?” if the answer is no, rewrite and reread. 【2】
If someone in the chat room is rude to you, your instinct (本能) is to fire back in the same manner. But try not to do so. 【3】 If it was caused by a disagreement with another member, try to fix the situation by politely discussing it. Remember to respect the beliefs and opinions of others in the chat room.
【4】 Offer advice when asked by newcomers, as they may not be sure what to do or how to communicate. When someone makes a mistake, whether it’s a stupid question or an unnecessarily long answer, be kind about it. If it’s a small mistake, you may not need to say anything. Even if you feel strongly about it, think twice before saying anything. Having good manners yourself doesn’t give you license to correct everyone else. 【5】 At the same time, if you find you are wrong, be sure to correct yourself and apologize to those that you have offended.
It is not polite to ask others personal questions such as their age, sex and income. Unless you know the person very well, and you are both comfortable with sharing personal information, don’t ask such questions.
A. It’s natural that there are some people who speak rudely or make mistakes online.
B. Repeat the process till you feel sure that you’d feel comfortable saying the words to the person’s face.
C. Everyone was new to the network once.
D. The basic rule is simple: treat others in the same way you would want to be treated.
E. When you send short messages to a person online, you must say something beautiful to hear.
F. You should either ignore the person, or use your chat software to block their messages.
G. If you do decide to tell someone about a mistake, point it out politely.

With the development of the Internet, more and more children are addicted to play online games day and night. It does harm not only to their health, especial their eyes, but also to their studies.
Comparing with online games, many traditional games benefits kids mentally and physically. They were very popular to several generations, for they learned something valuable and had a fun playing the games. Therefore, the games are losing our appeal now, and some children even haven’t heard of them.
Personally, I think teachers and parents should take measure to limit their children's Internet time. Let children know harm of online games and the benefits of traditional games. What's more, we should often organize traditional activities for children.
