　　During the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, the London District of Southward was prospering(繁榮), and a very important and far reaching development was taking place at an area lying just beside the church now known as Southward Cathedral(大教堂)．The Rose Theatre, the Swan, the Hope Playhouse and the Bear Garden, were set up here along with the famous Globe Theatre, in which Shakespeare acted．

The Easter bunny will be making a special trip to Burlington to hide some eggs for Easter. This year the Easter bunny will be hiding eggs in two separate locations. Bring your flashlight and a parent and help us find the eggs that are scattered about the Town Common and Simonds Park. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures, so bring your camera. The Easter egg hunt is open for residents only who have signed up and have a ticket. This is for children ages 2-5 with a parents and tickets are $6 each.

Stephen William Hawking was born on January 8th, 1942 in Oxford, England. His parents’ house was in North London, but during the Second World War Oxford was considered a safer place to have babies.
