    Dear Mr. Black,

I’m Li Hua, an exchange student from China. I had been studying in your

school for a year. I am deep moved by the kindness of people around. What I want

to say first is that the teachers here are very friendly. They do what they can help

me and encourage me to study hard. Whenever asking, they give satisfactory

answers. Beside, my classmates offer me a lot of help, either. We get on well to

each other and I have made quite a few good friend. At home, Walter’s parents take

good care of me, treating to me as if I were their own child.

I’m so grateful to all these people, with their help I have been accustomed to American culture and gained a lot of knowledge.

High school students sometimes feel stressed because frequent exams . Here is some suggestions on how to deal with the problem.
First of all, you should have confidences and hold on to your dreams. It’s important to make a good study plan and carry them out. To stay healthy and energetic, you’d better to do some sports after school, such as playing basketball, swimming and so on. Besides, a balancing diet is helpful. You should eat more vegetables but avoid food with too much fat.  In addition, it’s a good idea to turn to your parents and teachers with help when you got into trouble . One evening two young men were walking in the street. They tried to find a chance to steal everything. The clock strikes twelve. Most people were in bed. Steve was ten years old. He was a very good pupil, nor did he like doing his homework. When he did his homework, he always made a lot of mistake.
One day, his maths teacher went over Steve’s homework, see all his answers were right. He was very surprised instead being pleased. He asked Steve to explain what has happened, “ You have got all your answers correctly this time, Steve. Did anyone help you?”

We middle school students have had many tests or exam. We have achieved success and suffer failure. Different students take different attitudes to failure. Some is in low spirits when they don’t do well in the exams. They usually lose their heart and no longer study so harder as before. But most students take an active attitude towards failure. They encourage themselves to be confidently. They try to find out but analyse the causes so that they will no longer make same mistakes. I agree with those which have active attitudes. As we are all know, failure is the mother of success.
