Wang Lei and I are neighbours and we go to the same school. We have been good friend since childhood and have a great deal to share with every day. however, one day, Wang Lei copied my homework, which made me such angry that I did not want to befriend with him any long. One Monday morning I run downstairs without realizing it was raining, but there was no time to return home to fetch umbrella. It happened when Wang Lei was just around the corner and offered to share her umbrella with me. He made an apology to me in a gently voice. I forgave him but gave him a hug.

share在句中是不及物動(dòng)詞,后面搭配with時(shí),with后面要跟賓語(yǔ),此句中沒(méi)有share的賓語(yǔ),故去掉with.

句中angry是形容詞,修飾形容詞應(yīng)該用so表示“如此”,such修飾名詞。故把such改為so.

not…any longer不再,是固定搭配。

故把an改為a.

該句中it是形式主語(yǔ),謂語(yǔ)是happened,后面從句是主語(yǔ)從句,并且從句中不缺少任何成分,應(yīng)該用that引導(dǎo),what在從句中應(yīng)該做主語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)。故把what改為that.

根據(jù)上文want to befriend with him any long”可知,wanglei是男孩,因此此處人稱(chēng)代詞錯(cuò)誤。故把her改為his.

故把but改為and.

【題目】Directions: Complete the following passage by using the words in the box. Each word can only be used once. Note that there is one word more than you need.

Scientists have proved what students have long suspected: Maths equations can actually trigger physical pain.

Regions of the brain linked with the experience of physical 1 were activated in those fearful of maths when they were presented with a tough equation, researchers have found. The higher a person’s anxiety of a maths task, the more it 2 activity in regions of their brain associated with visceral (內(nèi)臟的) threat detection, and often the experience of pain itself.

However, the researchers say their study examines the pain response associated with anticipating an anxiety-provoking event, rather than the pain associated with a 3 event itself. A maths task itself is not painful but 4 the thought of it is highly unpleasant to certain people.

“Maths can be difficult, and for those with high levels of mathematics-anxiety (HMAs), math is associated with tension, apprehension (憂(yōu)慮) and fear,” the researchers said in their paper titled. When Math Hurts. “5, this relation was not seen during math performance, 6 that it is not that math itself hurts, rather, the anticipation of math is painful. These results may also provide a potential neural mechanism to explain why (people with) HMAs tend to 7 math and math-related situations, which in turn can bias (使有偏見(jiàn)) (those with) high levels of mathematics-anxiety away from taking math classes or even entire math-related 8 paths. We provide the first neural 9 indicating the nature of the subjective experience of math-anxiety.

Other forms of psychological stress, such as social 10 or a traumatic break-up, can also elicit feeling of physical pain.”

Just then, some girls were passing by and a flying watch hit one girl’s mouth exactly, these two teeth were knocked off. My mother was called in to deal the matter. We made an apology to the girl but took her to hospital to treat my wound.

【題目】 In a hot summer, there’s no better place than a UK beach—these shores offer walks and wildlife, picnics and rockpools.

Runswick Bay, North Yorkshir

It is a popular destination for rock poolers, walkers and hunters. Many of the homes are now holiday accommodations, linked by paths and walkways rather than streets. The Royal Hotel, at the heart of the village, offers homemade cakes and coffee alongside a simple but tasty bar menu and local Black Sheep bitter on draft.

Stay inCastle House(sleeps six, three nights from 500) at the top of the village; has sweeping views of the bay from a comfortable window seat.

South Shore, Brownsea Island, Dorset

Reached by ferry from the moneyed shores of Sandbanks, Brownsea Island is a pocket of safe wilderness in Poole harbour. Famous for its red squirrel population and as the site of Baden-Powell’s first Scout camp, its mixture of woodland, wildland, and ponds suits a day of exploration and adventure. Push yourself into the sandy banks and enjoy views across the harbour in the company of various sea birds.

Stayin National Trust-ownedCustom Houseon the seaport (sleeps four, three nights from 622); offers a real Brownsea experience.

Kingsgate Bay, Broadstairs, Kent

The lack of a convenient car park means that Kingsgate Bay, between Margate and Broadstairs, is quieter than other beaches on the Thanet coast. A short walk from the car park at neighboring Joss Bay (popular with surfers), however, will take you to this sheltered sandy bay with its sea caves. It is also a safe place to swim and canoe.

My father is the man I respect most. Strict as he may be, however he never fails to show her care and consideration. Once I broke a neighbor window. Seeing nobody around, I ran away immediately. When Dad came home, he noticed my uneasiness and asked me what has happened. I could only tell him a truth. Instead of scold, he praised my honesty and then encouraged me to apologize our neighbor. I learned from this incident that not only does Dad take care of my health and he also teaches me what to be a good citizen. How luckily I am to have such a good father!
