A new educational area has been set up for children,where kids can play in replicas (復(fù)制品)of the types of animal environments."We really make efforts to plan our educational programming,with the science curriculum (課程)standards of the state,so we really try to help young people learn the things that are taught in school in the context of the museum,"St.Clair said.Above all,children would learn how to live with animal in harmony.Then they can get ideas to protect our land.
Because the museum has been closed for two years,staff members are expecting a rise in attendance.Also,People think the wait will be worth it,that they have been expecting a visit with their children."My hope is that when people come in,they'll say it's better than it was before,"St.Clair said."We've changed our whole concept of exhibits and the way we do those,and I think people will see it as a real refreshing change."
