My plane was an hour late when it landed at Kansas City International Airport. Standing right next to my luggages, I wondered how I should do in case no one would turn up to meet us. On the one hand, I wish this wouldn’t happen. On the other hand, I was secret excited about the possibility of having to find out my own way around this strange place. A tall white guy in brown hair and blue eyes walked towards me with big smile on his face. “Are you Xuedan?” he asked in not very good Chinese.
