13.The English competition we talked about ________in our school last week.( 。
A.being heldB.would be heldC.was heldD.holding

分析 我們談論的英語競賽上周在我們學校舉行了

解答 答案是C.考查被動語態(tài),分析句子主語是The English competition與動詞hold之間是被動關系,we talked about 在句中做定語從句,last week是過去時間狀語,所以用過去時的被動語態(tài)were/waw+done,故答案選C.

4.Are you a media addict who would go mad after two hours without TV,friend requests,exciting online games and your mobile-or would you easily survive?
Recently,university students around the world were asked to volunteer in a global experiment called Unplugged.It was designed to see how young people would react if they were asked to observe a total media ban (禁令)by unplugging (切斷,撥掉)all forms of media devices for 24hours.
Unplugged is being run by Dr Roman Gerodimos,a lecturer in Communication and Journalism at Bournemouth University.Dr Gerodimos said there were already signs of how much the exercise affected volunteers."They're reporting withdrawal symptoms (脫癮癥狀),overeating,feeling nervous,lonely and disconnected."
During the 24-hour experiment,three of the experiment's guinea pigs had to bear one intrusion (侵擾)from the media:a BBC reporter and cameraman who followed them around for the day.They were asked to write down 100lines about their day offline,but of course,they all waited until the next day when they had access to their laptops.
